This 4th of July, Melted Crayons Mission will be rolling into the Broomfield’s Great American Picnic, reaching out to local families with free crayons and sponsors' cards, with a little magic, and a lot of color.
It’s a 'supporting the arts' moment, but it carries a deeper purpose: to raise awareness for children who’ve lost everything in a house fire, and the small, creative tools that help them heal.
Your sponsorship supports this outreach and brings visibility to your business in the process. It allows the community to witness a business supporting something vital to kids.
Our Sponsor Ethics Policy
Melted Crayons Mission maintains a firm boundary between its sponsorship activities and its direct response efforts.
Materials sent to families impacted by fire are always free of logos, promotions, or commercial influence. These gifts are about dignity, healing, and hope, not marketing.
During our special event giveaways, such as this one, we honor our sponsors by including them in our handout, public-facing channels, and other digital activations, but never through moments of private family recovery.
This is our way of ensuring that every child we help, one-on-one with supplies and support, knows one simple truth: The gifts were given to them with support and concern. Not a business opportunity.

Exclusivity & Recognition Policy
To protect the visibility and value of every sponsor, Melted Crayons Mission enforces a strict business-type exclusivity policy during each active event campaign. This means:
Only one business per type (e.g., café, law firm, pet groomer) may be featured at a time.
That exclusivity applies to all event-related visibility, including:
The homepage sponsor section
The 'Sponsors' page
Pop-up panels
Printed handouts or signage
Video related content
Any related promotional materials
This policy ensures each sponsor receives full, undiluted visibility throughout their campaign window.
Project Sponsorships (non-event activations)—such as sponsored props, videos, or guest speaking appearances—are not bound to event exclusivity rules. Therefore, two businesses of the same type may be active at the same time if they are sponsoring separate project-based campaigns that do not overlap in placement.
Ongoing Recognition:
When an event campaign concludes, sponsors are moved into our Past Sponsors section for permanent acknowledgment. This section may include multiple businesses of the same type, but it is displayed as a simple text-only list (no logos) to preserve the impact and exclusivity of current supporters.

We're going to leave a magical impression while crayons are handed out at the Great American Picnic in Broomfield, CO. This is a budget-friendly include your business card for the parent or guardian. This is more than visibility — it's your brand physically entering the home, and not an ad getting shuffled in a scroll.

$200 Level: Your logo on our website's 'Fire Safety Pop-Up Panel', home page and Sponsors' page, and your business card included with our giveaway crayons.
This pop-up panel appears at a key emotional moment on our homepage. As visitors scroll and encounter the burned swingset alongside the child’s quote that inspired Melted Crayons Mission, the message appears: “Prevention Protects.”
Your logo placement on this pop-up panel quietly aligns your business with prevention-first thinking — a reminder that awareness can protect lives before help is ever needed.
Activation includes:

$500 Level: 'Learn the Magic Trick' video sponsor for 1 full year, starting on the 4th of July.
Video shoot is Thursday, the 3rd. Sponsor must be secured by end of day Wednesday, the 2nd.
As we hand out the crayon boxes to kids at the event, a magic trick, or two, will be performed to add a memorable element of surprise and curiosity. Each crayon box includes a special card with a QR code linking to a “Learn the Trick” video hosted on the Melted Crayons Mission website, with you as the sponsor of that video.
Activation Package includes:
1) For 1 full year, your logo appears at the beginning of one 'Learn the Magic Tricks' featured video as its exclusive presenting sponsor.
2) For 1 full year, your business name is also listed on the 'Learn the Magic Tricks' page, in a table style format that is also featuring the other individual video sponsors' like yourself.
3) Sponsorship applies to one magic trick video.
4) 100 local families receive your business card. All sponsors' cards are included in our magic vibe handout.
5) Your logo and link featured on our website's Home Page and Sponsors Page through July 31.
6) After July 31, your business name and link are archived on our Sponsors Page. (logos are not retained)
